Climate change is caused by the increase in concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the atmosphere. These increases are primarily due to human activities such as the use of fossil fuels or agriculture. The indicators report estimates of Canada's emissions and removals of greenhouse gases.

Unfortunately, Alberta was hit with 5 oil spills in the last 5 years. the spills are located in Little Buffalo, Red Deer River, Elk Point, Slave lake, and Red Earth Creek. With all these spills the total amount of oil spilled is about 5,321,000 liters of oil. With this much oil spilled the approximate cost of all this is 26.5 billion dollars, these events each have specific amounts of oil spilled. The first is Little Buffalo, Little buffalo is the largest spill in the province in 35 years, the spills amount is about 4.5 million liters of oil this spill contaminated more than 3 hectares of beaver ponds, muskeg in a densely forested area northeast of peace river, Alta. The second spill is the Red Deer River spill, the approximate amount of oil spilled is about half a million liters of oil, this spill affected a few hundred people in this area. the third spill is the Elk point oil spill, this spill is 230,000 liters of oil spilled, this spill never affected any wild life at that time. The fourth spill is the Slave lake spill, this accident spilled 70,000 liters of oil but luckily this spill never contaminated any wildlife and never got close to humans. The last spill from those years is called the Red earth creek 60,000 liters of crude oil was spilled in this spill, again not affecting any wild life but releasing low amounts of hydrogen sulphide gas. these events have caused lots of damage to water bodies but not a lot of damage to wildlife, In conclusion Alberta has to spend a large amount of money because of malfunctions . You know how people hate being single on the holidays? Well, single Czech women are no different. On Christmas Eve, it's tradition for Czech women to put their backs to the house door and throw a shoe over their shoulders.
If the shoe lands with the heel towards the door, then she might as well cancel her Tinder account and buy up some more cats. But, if the front of the shoe points to the door, then she kisses her parents goodbye and gets to planning a wedding that will trump Kim K's! MapActionthis organization collects data from natural disasters, knowing that you cant time or know when the disasters going to happen. After they collect the data they put it into a map, this map can be seen by aid agencies, governments and local partners, after these people know this information they can provide aid and support before and after the disaster. They've been doing that since 2003.
The main problem with water pollution is that its killing organisms that depend on these water bodies. dead fish, crabs, birds, seagulls, etc. most of them just ends up washed on the beach dead because we decided to pollute there environment, it also messes up their food chain. the bad thing is that polluted water can kill humans too because it contaminates our water, so we should just work together to clean up beaches and water.
this video is explaining how global warming is melting lots of ice.
Glaciers begin to form when snow remains in the same area year-round, where enough snow accumulates to transform into ice. Glaciers move by a combination of (1) deformation of the ice itself and (2) motion at the glacier base. As the average global temperature increases, glaciers melt and retreat back up the valleys they flowed down. When glaciers disappear, the landscape stops being eroded by tons of ice and starts to be reclaimed by plant and animal life i think the way that the ancients built their cities are better than the way we built our cities today. I believe that the ancients had better lives back then because, they could travel the whole city in about 30 minutes or more getting everything they need to live their proper lives. Nowadays we need to drive everywhere its rare to find a neighborhood with stories and shops in a walking distance. I think people are now dying faster because we don't socialize as much

My opinion on
In my opinion transit transportation is really important especially for people under 18 (people who don't drive). Transit provides transportation for literally anyone with a small price, we really should be thankful for them, not everyone has a car or can afford a car. in 2016 a total of about 15.9 million people used public transportation that's almost half of Canada's total population.
